More than 200 boats from 14 nations lined up at Skovshoved Harbour, Denmark, for the 2026 OK Dinghy World Championship, hosted by the Royal Danish Yacht Club and Hellerup Sejlklub — one of the largest OK Dinghy Worlds on record. Amongst the New Zealand contingent, the daily "Tiki" trophy — awarded to the first Kiwi across the line in each day's final race — was hotly contested all week.

Rod Davis sailed a perfect three-race series to win the inaugural Marty Weeks Memorial at Napier Sailing Club's Brass Monkey Regatta, with Joshua and Kagan Weeks taking second and third — a result made all the sweeter with all three Weeks brothers on the water together for the occasion.

Dave Ridley claimed overall victory at the 2026 Turangi International, sailed over Turangi Yacht Club's 60th anniversary weekend at Stump Bay, and with it the Ralph Roberts Trophy as NZ OK Dinghy Tour champion for 2025/26. Steve McDowell was second and Luke Gower third, with 32 OKs entered for one of the tour's most-loved regattas.
