2026/27 NZ Tour season preview

The 2026/27 NZ OK Dinghy Tour is a nine-event calendar running from Brass Monkey at Napier Sailing Club through to Turangi International Regatta next April, taking the fleet from Napier to Waiuku, Northland, Wakatere, back to Napier, Waitara, and finally Turangi.

• Waiuku Sprints – Waiuku Yacht Club – 15–16 Aug 2026
• Northland Champs – Ōakura Bay – 29–30 Aug 2026
• Rum Bucket – Wakatere Boating Club – 31 Oct–1 Nov 2026
• Summer Regatta – Napier Sailing Club – 28–29 Nov 2026
• Waitara River Champs – Waitara Boating Club – 13–14 Mar 2027
• Turangi International Regatta – Turangi YC – 3–4 Apr 2027
• South Island Champs – dates tbc

Turangi is an OKDIA World Ranking event. Each attendee earns 10 tour points per event, with a further 2 bonus points for travelling attendees and bonus points for podium finishes. Best 5 results count towards the overall tour standings, and Grand Slam events (Rum Bucket, Summer Regatta, Turangi and South Island Champs) carry double tour points.
